About UsWe were getting married in our early 30’s and combining two households when we quickly realized that we already had one if not two of the blenders, mixers, pots, pans, cutlery and of course toasters! We also weren’t interested in the traditional china and crystal that our parents might have registered for back in the day. Who uses that stuff anyway??? It was more important for us to enjoy beginning our lives together with memories that would last a lifetime…and finding a way to pay for it! Jason was given the fun task of planning our honeymoon, and he made it a surprise at that! During his research, Jason found a way to create a Honeymoon Registry. Our destination was Aruba, a place neither of us had been. It was a place that Jason knew he and his lovely bride could both relax and partake in a little adventure. He quickly found tourist sites offering all there was to do at the location known as One Happy Island. He found events like sunset cruises, jeep tours and SCUBA excursions. The opportunity to gift us these activities provided our family and friends a fantastic way to be part of our first couple of weeks as newlyweds. Jason set up our honeymoon registry and notified our friends and family that we weren’t registered for linens and silverware…we were registered for dinner on the beach, horseback riding, drinks by the pool and more. Our family was fighting over who got the chance to gift us our first night in the honeymoon suite! So the surprise honeymoon to Aruba was more than I ever imagined and I never did miss getting a new toaster oven. Our honeymoon wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was without all the generous gifts we received. After our trip we sent a picture of us experiencing each activity along with a thank you card to each of the people that purchased each gift through the registry. Our dream honeymoon was such an amazing way for us to start our lives together and it was made possible by those who love us.
